A Sparked Passion

Faith in Motion Consulting was birthed from a passion sparked while helping my two sons through the college admission process (both with full merit-based scholarships) and assisting  friends and neighbors searching for practical college planning advice.  While assisting others with college planning, I realized many students and parents were at a loss when navigating the college admissions process.  Due to the lack of knowledge and understanding of this process, many students, especially students of color, miss the opportunity to go to college as well as miss opportunities to obtain scholarships to help pay for college. Often left feeling defeated, many students give up and accept the FALSE narrative that obtaining a higher education is not within their reach. I wanted to do something to change this narrative, so I launched Faith in Motion Consulting in July 2020 to share the in-depth knowledge I acquired on the college admissions process and available resources to help other students pursue their dreams of obtaining higher education at a low or no cost.

Faith in Motion Consulting is located in Germantown, Maryland. I welcome the opportunity to work with students in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia metro area as well as other locations through virtual meetings.
